Propolis Tincture in Alcohol

Ingredients

• Propolis – 30 g
• 70% Ethyl Alcohol – 100 ml

Description

Propolis tincture is a dark-colored liquid with a characteristic resinous aroma. It contains naturally occurring bioactive compounds with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and regenerative properties.

Directions for Use

Oral Use

To support the immune system and help protect against colds and upper respiratory tract infections:

• Adults: 1–2 teaspoons diluted in one glass of hot water or tea, 1–2 times daily.
• Recommended course: 10–30 days.

For digestive health (gastritis or gastric ulcers during remission):

• 20 drops, 3 times daily, diluted in water or milk.

Important: Do not use undiluted. The 70% alcohol may irritate the mucous membranes.

External Use

For disinfecting minor wounds, cuts, and skin abrasions:

• Apply to the affected area with a cotton swab 1–2 times daily.

For mouth rinsing (stomatitis, gingivitis, sore throat):

• Dilute 15–20 drops in one glass of warm water and rinse 2–3 times daily.

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 3 years of age.
• Do not use if you are allergic to bee products (propolis or honey).
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
• Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without consulting a healthcare professional.
• Store in a dark place at room temperature.

Possible Side Effects

• Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling).
• Irritation of the mucous membranes if overdosed or used undiluted.
